Dr. Taub graduated with Distinction from Duke University, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He then graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emory University School of Medicine. Still at Emory University School of Medicine, he went on to complete his Internship in General Surgery and his Neurosurgery Residency training. Dr. Taub then completed a clinical fellowship in Complex, Deformity, and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery at The Cleveland Clinic Center for Spine Health in Cleveland, Ohio.
While at Emory, Dr. Taub was awarded the Joseph B. Whitehead Surgery Scholarship. He also received the Emory Healthcare Patient Safety Lifesaver Award. Dr. Taub was awarded a R25 grant from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) / National Institutes of Health (NIH). During that time, he completed his Post-doctorate research focusing on Biological Neurorestoration and Neuromodulation.
Dr. Taub is a member of the American Academy of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, AOSpine, AANS/CNS Joint Section on Disorders of Spine and Peripheral Nerve, the Texas Medical Association and the Dallas County Medical Society.
Dr. Taub is the author of numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, abstracts and other publications. Dr. Taub joins Dallas Neurosurgical and Spine located at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and will focus on minimally invasive and reconstructive techniques for the full spectrum of spinal disorders, including degenerative, tumor, trauma, rheumatologic, and infectious disorders. He also performs cranial and peripheral nerve procedures.
