Dr. Patrick Pownell is a highly respected plastic surgeon specializing in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He has been practicing plastic surgery in the Dallas area since 1994 and is the immediate past department chairman of plastic surgery at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Dr. Pownell holds dual board certifications from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology.
He is a member of numerous plastic surgery societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgery and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Pownell is also the current president of the Dallas Society of Plastic Surgeons and an officer in the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has been recognized repeatedly by his physician peers through his selection to D Magazine’s Best Doctors in Dallas, Texas Monthly’s Super Doctors, and The Best Doctors in America.
Dr. Pownell performs facial aesthetic surgery in a wide range of areas including facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, facelift, eyelid, and brow lift. Body contouring procedures include abdominoplasty, liposuction, breast augmentation, and breast lift. Primary areas of reconstruction are nasal, facial, and breast reduction. Nonsurgical services include Botox and numerous soft tissue fillers.
