Dr. Paul Ellenbogen
Radiologist

Dr. Paul Ellenbogen joined Dallas Radiologists (now Southwest Imaging and Interventional Specialists) and the staff of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas in 1978. He has served on the Medical Board for over ten years and served for nine years as Vice Chair of the Department of Radiology and then later served as Chair for seven years.

Dr. Ellenbogen has participated in numerous medical organizations and is a past President of the Texas Radiological Society and is currently a member of the Board of Governors. He is the Secretary/Treasurer of the American College of Radiology and a member of the Board of Chancellors chairing the Commission on Human Resources. Dr. Ellenbogen serves on the Executive, Audit, Web Site, and Awards and Honors committees of ACR. He is the Chair of the Governance and the Budget and Finance committees of ACR.

Dr. Ellenbogen attended Medical School at The State University of New York-Downstate and completed his internship and his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of California in San Diego. He also completed a fellowship in Ultrasound and Uroradiology at UCSD. Dr. Ellenbogen is certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology as well as the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. He has been named one of the “Best Doctors in Dallas” eight years in a row.
