Dr. Vijayasree Arvind
Pain Management

Dr. Arvind graduated from Kilpauk Medical College in Madras in 1991. After medical school, she completed a residency in anesthesiology at Harvard Medical School in 1999. She stayed at Harvard to complete a fellowship in pain management in 2000. Dr. Arvind is skilled in all aspects of interventional pain management techniques, but has particular interest in the treatment of acute sports-related injuries. Additionally, she is interested in viscosupplementation (the injection of gel-like substances such as Synvisc, Hyalgan, Supartz, and Orthovisc into joint spaces to supplement the viscous properties of synovial fluid).

Dr. Arvind is board certified in both anesthesiology and pain management by the ABMS, and has been in private practice since 2000.
