Dr. John R Gilmore is an Otolaryngology (ear, nose & throat) specialist in Dallas, TX. He is board-certified in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Gilmore has been selected as one of D Magazine “Best Doctors” repeatedly since 2011.
He is past Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology at Presbyterian Hospital and a past Chief of the Division of Otolaryngology at Methodist Hospital of Dallas.
He was elected as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and as a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstruction Surgery.
Dr. Gilmore graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed an internship at Parkland Memorial Hospital and residencies at Parkland Memorial Hospital and Duke University Medical Center.
